Bike Doctor

    CBC recently expanded our existing Earn-a-Bike program to include community outreach to segments of the Biddeford population without access to our fixed location. Bike Monkey’s graduates, youth completing mandated community service, and experienced CBC participants will accompany our lead mechanic pedaling a highly-visible, self-contained cargo bike to provide free bike repair in neighborhoods where kids live. In addition to learning valuable community service concepts, older youth will develop job skills including commitment, organizational strategies, customer service and personal responsibility.

Summer 2012, Bike Doctor Schedule: Bike Doctor will leave the CBC shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays to fix bikes in and around Biddeford between the hours of 2:00 - 5:00pm. Middle school and high school aged kids are encouraged to volunteer, fixing bikes for their neighbors alongside our our lead mechanic and Program's Director.
